Purpose Of Position
This is a position for an individual who has sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to handle the responsibilities of the position.
Typical Responsibilities
The Field Construction Manager is responsible for duties that may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Inspects and observes that a construction project, or an aspect of a construction project, is constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications of the project
  • Identifies unforeseen conditions or errors in the plans or specifications and communicates such to the attention of their supervisor or the client
  • Maintains an accurate set of field notes and daily diary
  • Assists more experienced staff in a variety of inspections, as well as, efforts in estimating, record keeping and the preparation of as-built drawings and records
  • Becomes knowledgeable with the pertinent information of a construction project, or aspect of a construction project, including but not limited to the plans and specifications, restrictions and right of ways, permits, test procedures, schedules, shop drawings, utility locations and information
  • Develops and maintains a professional working relationship with construction contractors or subcontractors, and engineering/architectural design team
  • Demonstrates sufficient skills and judgment to be the sole inspector on a construction site
  • Prepares daily reports, takes progress photos, maintains record document information
  • Monitors and records contractor’s work performance with the contract requirements and conducts final inspections, prepares punch lists, and collects documentation for closing out of contracts
  • Coordinates materials testing, surveying services and other sub professional services that may be required
  • Reviews and recommends progress payments to the contractor
Knowledge and Experience Desired
  • High School Diploma and 3 - 6 years of relevant experience; or Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree and 0 – 3 years experience
  • Certifications may be required at time of employment on one or more of the following: ICBO certification for Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel & Welding), OSHPD, DSA, AWS, CALTRANS QA/QC Filed Welding or other certifications which may be required by the client.

This is a position for a person who has a high level of experience and ability in CAD as well as a high level of design experience.
Typical Responsibilities
The Senior Site Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for activities that include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Completes Zoning Ordinance Reviews
  • Reviews zoning drawings prior to submittal for compliance with public agencies and client requirements
  • Prepares, submits and obtains land use entitlement applications
  • Completes Lease Audit reviews
  • Coordinates with tower owners and/or private landlords to negotiate and secure lease entitlements as project scope defines
  • Reviews and approves site specific documents
  • Reviews the quality and completeness of site specific documentation
  • Monitors and tracks progress on all open transactions
  • Reviews vendor and subcontractor invoices for Site Acquisition Manager or others
  • Maintains client relationships and coordinates activities with customer approvals
  • Other duties or special projects, as assigned
  • Supervised work of other site acquisition, engineering and construction personnel as necessary
  • Provides feedback on other Site Acquisition Specialist to Site Acquisition Manager for Performance Evaluations
Knowledge and Experience Desired
  • High School Diploma and 4 - 6 years of relevant experience; or Drafting Certificate and 4 - 6 years of relevant experience; or Associates Degree and 4 - 6 years of relevant experience

Purpose Of Position
The Site Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the site selection, leasing and zoning activities as well as the information facilitation required for the Telecommunications sites assigned. The Site Acquisition Specialist should require some supervision, guidance and training regarding the essential duties of the position.
Typical Responsibilities
The Site Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for activities that include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Completes site candidate identification packages and/or lease and zoning audits
  • Coordinates site walks, site design walks and other site/field visits with RF Engineering, Zoning, Construction and A&E Departments as required
  • Negotiates Lease, Amendment, License, Right-of-Way and/or Easement Agreements with property owners with direction for Senior Site Acquisition or the Site Acquisition Manager
  • Completes leasing packages and other documentation required by the client
  • Researches and obtains information regarding all applicable planning, zoning codes, and regulations which would affect the development of a site
  • Prepares zoning applications and supporting documentation including written site description, justification for site, plans and sketches, maps, and photo simulations
  • Organizes presentations for neighborhood meetings or public hearings as required by local jurisdictions or as requested by respective property owner(s)
  • Interacts with the RF Engineering and Construction personnel to ensure compliance with all clients, landlord, jurisdictional, governmental and industry standards
  • Prepares reports for the Project Manager / Team Lead and/or client, as required
  • Projects accurate lease dates and attend status meetings
Knowledge and Experience Desired
  • Requires 4 year degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Requires 0-4 years wireless industry experience
  • Prefer knowledge of tower industry
